From vineyards planted at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above the sea level, the wines from Clunia are carved by a hostile environment. Yet, it is this difficulty that makes them special. At Clunia, altitude counteracts the effects of climate change and preserves in the wines a delicate acidity, complexity and finesse that situates Clunia wines among the best wines from Spain, a fact confirmed by Gu\u00eda Pe\u00f1\u00edn year after year.<\/p>\n<p>The wines from Clunia have received awards ever since the project was launched in 1999.
