New High-Altitude wine, Clunia Pinot Noir, 2019

September 30th, 2019. New high-altitude wine: CLUNIA PINOT NOIR 2018.

After two Tempranillo wines, a Syrah and a white Albillo, Clunia launches its first 100% Pinot Noir.

Clunia’s first Pinot Noir comes from Finca Pedraza, a small vineyard located at 975 meters above sea level. It is elegant and full of fresh fruit flavours like wild strawberries, raspberries and cherries. The seven months ageing stint in oak barrels has added subtle flavours of spices and toffee.

Clunia’s terroir is unique because it is located at high altitude which limits the effects of climate change in wines, preserving freshness and complexity. Clunia wines are fine exponents of the virtues that high altitude wines can provide.

The situation of the vineyards, an unparalleled terroir and intelligent viticulture provide quality, authenticity and exclusivity in the Clunia offer at large, and certainly no less in this new 100% Pinot Noir.
